INSPIRATION OF THE WEEK – LIAM NEESON

He’s 59 but his fitness probably puts most 20-year-olds to shame.

The veteran actor of blockbuster Thrillers such as Taken and Unknown, recently experienced a ‘career rebirth’, making him one of the Most Wanted Actors by directors.

Despite soon turning 60, he secured regular appearances in award-winning movies, most notably action-packed films that puts his fitness to the test.

Having been a boxer in his youth, it has helped shaped the discipline he has in life.
He insists on doing his own fighting on set, and works out to stay reasonably fit.
The fighting scenes in Taken, in my opinion, was one of the best.
Age is certainly just a number, ain’t it? 

I was blown away by the movie Unknown with its great plot, and impressed by Liam Neeson’s peak form despite his age, doing all the fighting himself!
On a side note, this movie has kicked my All Time Favourite thriller movie Law-abiding Citizen to second spot.
He’s probably my favourite Irish actor. 🙂

Inspiration of the Week – Maggie Q aka Nikita

Lately i’ve been super hooked on Nikita.

The show is brilliant cos it has a solid storyline and its so addictive!

The lead role of the serial is Maggie Q, as Nikita, whose an ex assassin dead set on taking down the rogue organisation she used to work for.

With all that fighting involved,

she must have trained Really Hard just to prep for this show.

Dang, she has the super toned body every woman WANTS.

She embodies strength and feminity, but behind that alluring beauty,  she has a thirst for the kill.

 

Maggie Q has been a vegetarian for many years and does hardcore yoga –

” The ‘Madonna yoga’, it gives me periods of strength that you can’t get from other exercise.” –

Maggie Q said in an interview with wetpaint.

Inspiration of the week – Sofia Vergara

Have you caught Modern Family?

Today’s Inspiration of the week features Sofia Vergara, and she’s my favourite character in the show!
Its an amazing comedy serial btw, go watch it if you haven’t, IT IS SOOOOO FUNNY. 🙂
Sofia Vergara who is of Columbian descent, gained fame from the show Modern Family.
She acts as the hot and young Columbian second wife of her husband who is way older than her, and her trademark in the show would definitely be her thick Columbian accent.
But of course, voted as Shape’s sexiest body in Hollywood,
this bombshell also has a body to die for.
According to her interview with ThatsFit.com,
she does Pilates, spin classes and she changes her workout routines all the time.
She loves desserts but she also eats lots of fruits and vegetables!

Inspiration of the week – Sylvester Stallone

We all knew him as Rocky – that fighter who overcame all odds and won the Heavyweight Championships twice.

He was also known as John Rambo – the ruthless American soldier deployed to Vietnam for war
Whichever he was, he always portrayed an image of that tough, buff guy everyone looked up to,
he was the man’s man.

Stallone maintained a low 4-7% body fat for all his films and goes on a high-protein diet.
He trains like a pro bodybuilder and is extremely disciplined,
Obviously, a no-nonsense person when it comes to diet and working out.
Stallone admits to sometimes being too harsh on himself that his body breaks down.
His mentality for excellence keeps him on track and constantly being in his best fitness.

Inspiration of the week

She’s a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

She has fronted countless covers of Shape, Maxim, Cosmopolitan etc, and crowned the most beautiful woman by Maxim.

Her fitness regime includes Surfing, Spinning and Boxing.
She avoids processed food and is a fan of organic food, and she tries to plan and prepare all her meals.
She has a soft spot for ice-cream, (like most of us do) and spoils herself with one on her Cheat day.
